Can one page rank for more than one keyword? Does it make sense to try to rank for two or more search terms with one webpage? How many keywords should you target per page?
Yes, one page can rank for more than one keyword and, in fact, it frequently does (whether the webmaster is aware of it, or not). Yes, you should try to rank for multiple search terms with each page and it won’t have any negative effects on the keywords you are already ranking for (unless you remove all SEO you have already done for that search term). The optimial number of keywords to “shoot” for is 2-4 per page.
