How fast can you build links to your site without raising a red flag with Google?
Personally, I am not aware of any threshold.
My experience is that if you keep your incoming link profile broad enough, you can go as wild as your resources allow.
If you have a brand new site and you want to avoid ending up in the Google Sandbox, spend fair amount of time on building links to your internal pages, getting deep links.
